Dark decora boy « Thread Started on Oct 24, 2009, 3:53pm »
I'm a boy and I absolutely love the decora style, but I am of a more gothic nature so I think I'd like to stick with koteosa/dark decora. The thing is, I'm a boy and not a crossdresser, well not really. I don't wear skirts but I love makeup, nail polish, hair extensions, hair clips (only have two though, and they're the same shape) and tight girl jeans. I need tips on how to dress koteosa while not crossdressing. Here are some pics of me at vampirefreaks.com/sunny_deathboy

Hello~ For boys, decora is pretty much the same apart from skirts. So for dark decora you can wear -stripy socks -hair stuff -character goods like kuromi or jack skelligtion
I guess you could wear like cargo pants (it that what there called?) that are like knee length-ish and then wear lots of stripy socks. But keep everything Dark Colours!!

Er, I agree with the above ideas. I think it would be easier to go for trousers that are coloured, like purple, red, blue, maybe black if the rest of your outfit will be interesting, and then have the main focus on accessories of some kind and a jacket that works with the style. And as you said you wear make-up already, this would make the look stand out. Maybe bright shoes, or have bright socks with darker shoes. I'm probably no help; I'm not in the 'decora mindset' so I've probably suggested the wrong kind of thing.
Maybe this isn't helping much, but I'm actually thinking what I would wear if I wore decora with trousers (luckily, cross dressing for girls is a lot easier to get away with )

Most of the guy decora that I've seen wear pretty much what the girls do, the only real difference that I can see is that most of them don't wear skirts - quite a few of them wear shorts instead, I haven't seen any wear pants, but you could always try to wear tight girl pants with the style. Maybe they would work if you were to brighten them up? Like add designs by stamping them with fabric paints or adding little jewels on them or adding patches of random bright and mis-matched designs? o.O;
I think they might look good if you roll the bottoms up so that you can show off layered and mismatched socks underneath them.
