The "Infected" are the Survivors' foes in Left 4 Dead. The Common Infected encountered during the game are fast and agile, weak individually, but may be overwhelming in numbers. They occasionally attack en masse, referred to in game as a "Horde". In addition to the Common Infected, there are five "Special Infected" whose mutations grant them special attacks that make them much more dangerous: the Hunter, an agile Infected that can pounce on Survivors from a great distance; the Smoker, an Infected that ensnares Survivors with its long tongue at a distance and, upon death, releases a cloud of smoke; the Boomer, a bloated Infected whose vomit and bile blind the player and attract the Horde; the Tank, a huge, muscular Infected that is the most powerful and difficult to kill; and the Witch, a passive Infected that, when provoked by a loud sound, light, gunshots, or a Survivor approaching too close to her, will attack her provoker.

This game is fucking AMAZING. It's super fun and super scary. You get anxiety just playing it, lol. If you play enough you're pretty much guaranteed messed-up dreams.

Bwahaha my boyfriend's an insane zombie-game enthusiast so I've played it with him once. It was pretty damn fun but for some reason it doesn't scare the crap out of me like Resident Evil does. @__@

OMFG

I did an all-nighter at a gaming place nearby a few months back, and half the time we played left 4 dead, we had 3 of us together and we picked up random internet people.

It was so much fun D=
like.. wow! It's the only game I really want to play other than world of warcraft >.>
I loves me some zombies <3
Me and my friends were thinking of doing a group halloween costume with all the heroes and some zombies. It seems unfeasible right now but i would love to at least work on it a little.

haha, i Love left 4 dead! My dad got it for himself but we play on it, my fav zombies are those guys who throw up XD
I have got some pretty crack dreams cos of it tho....>_<

Man, I find this game to be SO addictive! X__X I've only played it at my cousin's on vacation because he has an x box. But my sisters, (girl) cousin and I would pull all nighters playing that game. All my other boy cousins would get mad because we would be on there forever. xD

You can't help but get into it. We would find ourselves talking to each other as though we were battling zombies for real. xD "Follow me!.....No, the witch is back there......Turn of your light....COVER ME!...Into the safe house, quick!" It's so much fun. We would even walk around the house late at night making little gun sounds. haha

And bhevarri that would be an awesome idea. Very creative.
